Detail: For over twenty years The Tivoli Theatre has been playing host to the hottest theatrical and live music acts in the world. Some names that may sound familiar include Gangstarr, Moby, Manic Street Preachers, The Beastie Boys and Oasis!
A few years back The Tivoli was threatened by Ireland's economic success and in particular the insatiable demand for apartment, retail and commercial space in Dublin city centre. Located in the heart of Dublin's fashionable Arts and Antique quarter, on Francis St, The Tivoli has returned, quite literally a phoenix from the ashes!
The interior has been redecorated, the lighting is top notch, and the sound rig is one of the best in the city. Above and beyond that The Tivoli has THE BIGGEST BEER GARDEN in Dublin which has been sprayed by some of Europe's and Dublin's leading graffiti artists.
In the few short months it has been open again the Tivoli Theatre has completed two sold out, runaway shows. Defending the Caveman starring Simon Delaney and Elvis starring Kevin Doyle. The club has seen some of Dublin's hottest bands play such as Royseven, Mainline, Noise Control. Other acts such as Green Velvet, Kissy Sell Out, Billy Scurry and Jared Followill (Kings of Leon) have packed it out.
That's the past; the future looks bright with a serious line up ahead!
