 Detail: Whelan’s is known as an institution in Dublin as practically every Irish band has played here at some stage or other. The Sunday afternoon sessions are famous, as are their week night live band and DJ sets. If you're sick of pumping pop, Whelan's laid-back indie style will make you want to keep coming back.
