very big portions,unfortunetly very big portions of over cooked, under seasoned food (?!) Service mediocre Not good! won't be returning soon.

Passing through Fermoy and there were not many options for a quick bite so we chose the Grand Hotel bar. The bar is quite nice decor wise and wasn't too busy. The hotel lobby was extremely outdated and could do with a carpet change at least!. We ordered two fish and chips and a jug of water as we were driving. The fish was utterly tasteless and the chips not much better. Also the water jug was stained and not very clean. No vinegar or sauce was supplied with the chips. Very disappointed ! Will not be retuning, service was average at best ,even with quite bar food took too long.

The service is excellent, professional at all times. Lovely, cosy, enjoyable atmosphere. All the food is mouthwatering and very reasonably priced.
