Brendan, the ‘bad boy of ballroom’, demonstrates his brilliant execution and superb choreography in a dynamic dance show. From the sensual moves of the tango, rumba and cha cha, the elegance of the foxtrot, quickstep and Viennese waltz, to a red hot blast of paso doble, salsa and jive, Brendan and his guests perform their choice of everybody’s favourites.
This exhilarating mix of dance is set to songs from some of the greatest legends such as: Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, mixed with music as contrasting as Carmina Burana and Prince, this show is full-on dance-floor dynamite. Brendan with his dancers, singers and a scorching band of hip young musicians gives the ultimate modern take on ballroom, up close and personal.
Joining him is a galaxy of championship dancers. Brother Scott, (three-times New Zealand champion); Latin American professionals Andrew Cuerden and Hanna Haarala (‘Strictly Come Dancing’ series 3). Izabela Hannah (series 3) and Nicole Cutler, former Strictly professional and World Latin American Champion.
The singers and band are under the direction of Musical Director Barry Robinson, popular MD for numerous West End shows.
New Zealander Brendan has emerged as one of the star professionals in BBC TV’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ series and adds an international flavour to the show. Sassy and sexy, dramatic and daring, Cole is a charismatic performer with star quality. His choreography has a touch of genius and his spirited exchanges with the Strictly judges make great TV viewing. Brendan went on to win the first series when he partnered Natasha Kaplinsky and he has since performed in every subsequent series.
He has partnered some of the most stunning celebrities, including Kelly Brook, Lisa Snowdon and super-model Rachel Hunter, and his partner in the new series is ex model Jo Wood estranged wife of Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood.
