Judging from its last sold out venture on Halloween night, all who dare venture into the realms of the Rocky are in for a treat. With a cast of miss-matched misfits performing 16 scenes from the film on stage, The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to life, live and unabashed.
After its whirl wind success over the past three years, the show has grown from strength to strength urged on by its following of loyal fans. From audiences of 40 to 400, Rocky Horror Picture Show is alive and kicking in Dublin once again and more eager then ever to corrupt another generation [of virgins].
Long time Rockettes will be seen to be flinging themselves upon the dance floor, luxuriating within the mist of all that is Rocky with heels as far up as the eye can see and of course, at all times obeying the spirit of the show which is …anything goes, and we mean that virgins.... anything and everybody goes!!!
But of course first timers, or virgins as we call them, will be welcomed and treated with the utmost (dis)respect. Thrust into an unsure world, all will become very clear of what they have let themselves in for as scantily clad Phantoms will great them at the door and pay special attention to them all night. They will be guided through the perils of the fishnets, the mind field of participation and of course the ecstasy of the Time Warp.
This Valentines Night expects the biggest best show yet. Guest performances to whet the appetite, from the talented yet oh so audacious Dotty Potts a.k.a Miss Belle a Go-Go, Fire performers to great you at the door while corseted phantoms take you to your seats. Complete audience interaction is a must with all props ready at the waiting for you to use and abuse, plenty of candy to fuel you’re oh so sweet, saccharine tooth,
and of course what would it be if we didn’t have prizes for best dressed!!!!
